Child care...

If I ruled the world assisted living facilities for older people would also be daycare centers for children.

"Grandparents" caring for "grandchildren" makes everybody happy. The elderly would have an interest, which would keep their minds in better condition (especially since children tend to ask questions). The children would have a source of unconditional adult love and attention, not to mention role models. It's good for the health and well being of all concerned. There would be trained supervisors, of course, but instead of 1 or 2 adults trying to keep up with 30 kids, there would be enough adults to go around.

Smackdown!

If I ruled the world bad guys (as determined by me, and they can be women too) would get a good spanking and sent to their rooms to think about what they did.

Or, prison sentences and mandatory community service to help rebuild that which they helped to destroy. Since exceptions prove the rule... sometimes there will be no second chances.

Plant Mania...

If I ruled the world every town would have enough public garden space for every resident.

You wouldn't have to use it if you didn't want to, but it would be there if you did.

Heal!

If I ruled the world medicine would be a not for profit industry. Doctors could have private practices, if they wanted, but basic medical care would be available and free for all.

Well, okay, not free, but included.

Mmmmmmilk...

If I ruled the world everyone who wanted one (and had room) would be given a milk animal.

Cow, goat or sheep, whichever suits the climate and lifestyle the best. Rabbits, chickens, ducks and geese would also be options (not for milk so much as meat and/or eggs)
